Tragically, their only reliable means of learning is by listening to their instructors. Others rely on friends to take notes, which they painstakingly zoom in on at home just to attempt to grasp their lessons.

Then, we met a group of deaf students facing similar challenges. The emotional weight of this situation became unbearable when we prescribed glasses to some, only to hear the crushing reality that they couldn’t afford these vital tools for gaining a decent education. The smiles that lit up their faces upon receiving their prescriptions faded into despair when faced with the financial barrier of purchasing the glasses necessary to see the world clearly.

This is where we, at Samaritan Mission, refuse to stand idle any longer. We have made the resolute decision to visit these schools and provide free glasses to these deserving students. But we know we can’t do this alone; we need your help.
